  • Branches starting or Ending with WELD component in PDMS/E3D was creating a GAP in the Stress layout. So, PML for checkSTRESS has been updated to address the issue.
  • New feature is added to show loads for all supports in Support Load Summary Results.

Release Notes on checkSTRESS Version 10.00

  • Macro for CADMATIC is updated to work with CADMATIC Versions 19T3 or Later.
  • PML for checkSTRESS is updated to be compatible with both E3D and PDMS.
  • New feature is added to transfer Limit Stops, Skewed Restraints and Snubbers in Local Axial, Shear Y and Shear Z directions from 3D Plant Design sotware.
  • New feature is added to transfer "INSTRUMENT" with SKEY "BLEW" from PCF file as "BELLOW" to checkSTRESS.
  • checkSTRESS modules are updated to be compatible with Visual Studio 2019 and .NetFramework 4.0.

  • Fourteen (14) new Spectrum Libraries have been added corresponding to EL Centro (May 18, 1940), Uniform Building Code (1991 Edition) and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Guide 1.60 [July 2014, Revision 2] in the folder "SpectrumLibrary". These can be accessed through checkSTRESS > Edit Layout > Misc > Spectrums > Library.
  • New Feature added to validate Branch SIFs defined in the stress model against those SIFs applicable for the selected piping code before saving the model. If any Branch SIF defined in the stress model does not match with those applicable for the piping code selected, an option is given to change that Branch SIF before saving the model.

  • New feature added to export stress layout to MBF file from checkSTRESS layout edit option. This can be performed through Edit Layout > File > Export to mbf.

  • New feature added to perform occasional stress evaluation using response spectra and/or static seismic 'g' loads.
  • New feature to transfer Spring Rate and Cold Load for to be designed hangers automatically to PIPESTRESS input file for checkSTRESS Nuke.
  • New feature added to export stress layout to PCF file from checkSTRESS layout edit option. This can be performed through Edit Layout > File > Export to PCF.

  • New feature added to transfer the model in ENGLISH units to checkSTRESS, if the value of the attribute "UNITS-CO-ORDS" is defined as "INCH" in PCF file for checkSTRESSPCF, checkSTRESS II PCF and checkSTRESS Nuke PCF.
  • Product is now fully compatible with Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012 or later. This version of product does not require .Net Framework 1.0 to be installed and may require .Net Framework 2.0, if the same is not already enabled in Windows.
